About Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain Resort and Spa
Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain Resort and Spa opened in late 2022 on Jazaer Beach in Zallaq, on the quieter west coast of the island. It was Jumeirah's second property in Bahrain and was designed as a self-contained beach resort, with greenery, waterways and views across the Gulf rather than city towers.
The resort has 196 rooms and suites, many facing the sea. Its official address is Building 278, Avenue 63, Jazaer Beach, Zallaq, which places it close to the public Jazaer beach, the Bilaj Al Jazayer development and Bahrain International Circuit.
Families are well catered for. There is a kids club with its own pool, a teens club with games, an in-house cinema, an infinity pool and tennis and squash courts. The Talise spa offers treatments, a hammam and heat facilities. Dining includes Obab Al Bahar by the pool and Due Mari for Italian food, along with lounges overlooking the water.
For residents of Bahrain it is one of the main staycation choices in the south, and many visitors come for day use, brunch or the spa. Its neighbour along this stretch of coast is the Sofitel at Zallaq, and the Avani and Tivoli resorts are being built nearby at Bilaj Al Jazayer.
